Use Herbal Teas to stabilise Hormones –Hibiscus and Sage have many beneficial effects for Women in peri and menopause health

Hibiscus has been used to help women in many cultures to support hormones and can be restorative during menopausal symptoms.

Hibiscus tea is rich in anti-oxidants which antioxidant properties to help fight against aging and keep skin healthy and glowing.

Hibiscus is also known for its’ calming properties and is good for managing  hot flashes during the menopause as it helps the Central nervous system to restore homeostasis and hormone imbalances. The vitamin C and anti-inflammatory properties of hibiscus tea can also be highly effective when treating acne – so its good for teens going through their transitions too.

Core strength exercises have been well documented as good for peri and menopause –  There are many different types of yoga.  I like vinyasa, Hatha flow and Pranic as they help me keep my balance in my life.  Just 20 mins a day could be enough for beginners.

I cannot stress the value of Yoga enough and use a few programmes each week as my go to therapy for time of stress and I can honestly say they always work.
