Deep trauma can be embedded in our psyche- its well documented that PTSD exists and this is why I recommend using Myofascial Release Therapy.
What is Myofascial Release Therapy and why use it
It is as a safe and deeply effective hands-on technique that involves applying gentle sustained pressure into the Myofascial fascia connective tissue
For releasing restrictions and help release meridian memory,
For eliminating pain and restoring movement.
Myofascial Release uses slow movements lasting between 2-5- or 7 minutes or more, which allows the viscoelastic medium (fascia) to release and restore tissue elasticity, which helps it heal itself.
Trauma, inflammatory responses, and/or surgical procedures create Myofascial restrictions and produce tensile pressures. And this massage is highly restrorative.
A one-on-one healing session will use hands-on Myofascial Release techniques to increase movement, yin flow, enhance strength, flexibility, strengthen posture and intuitive body scanning.
MYOFASCIAL RELEASE THERAPY has been found useful for :
- Headaches & Migraines
- Myofascial related Pain
- Women’s Health
- Pelvic & Menstrual Problems
- Fascia Restrictions
- Repetitive Stress and muscle Injuries
- Neurological Dysfunction
Myofascial Release is a fantastic technique for the back and enables release of fascial restrictions to release the fascia tissue using a slow release to support recovery in the central nervous system.
Myofascial release uses the following techniques
Skin rolling seeks to remove restriction in the superficial fascia. It can be used to pin point areas of tension
Arm and leg pulls
Joint pulls connect the fascial web from the top of the head to the tip of the toes. Joint pulls will release any fascial restrictions.
Cross handed stretches
These are performed on the skin each hand pushing in opposite directions. This technique can be used over large and small areas.
Transverse diaphragm releases 3 transfers planes in the body:
Helps to free the 3 transverse planes in the body: pelvic floor, respiratory diaphragm and the thoracic inlet.
